Crispiani Method in playing ball

The Crispiani Method is a conceptual framework and a set of professional practices designed to support the cognitive and motor development of individuals of all ages. Within this theoretical and experiential context, a practice specifically focused on motor play with a ball has been developed, known as the Crispiani Method in Playing Ball.

The Playing Balls activities within the Crispiani Method are structured and conducted according to the principles and expertise of Cognitive Motor Training. This approach integrates neurophysiological development factors in both cognitive and neuromotor domains, creating an educational training modality that fosters a synergistic interaction between cognitive and motor practice functions. This synergy promotes enhanced functional development processes and overall improvement in cognitive and motor skills.

In this context, playful practices are aimed at two areas of development of skills in the neuro-psycho-motor field: neuroactivation (prompt incipit, reactivity, rapid self-regulation, etc.), and functional strengthening (executive speed, coordination, synesthesia, space-time orientations, resistance, self-regulation, etc.).

These activities, conducted in individual forms (individual training) or groups, promote fundamental functional requirements of neuromotor behavior: incipit, fluency, cross patterns, rotator patterns, and reverse patterns. The use of the ball and the cognitive-motor relationships that it generates are the reasons for educational activities of motor play and game-sport.
